Wings of War

(December 2008) I have been looking for a simple World War I air game for a long while. Many years ago, I bought "Fight in the Skies". It was a reasonably good game but still too complex for what I wanted. Recently, I had heard a lot about "Wings of War" and it seemed like it was the sort of game I wanted , so eventually, I treated myself to “Wings of War: Famous Aces”. It does indeed look like a nice simple WW1 air game. Hopefully the search is now over. It's a pity the painted models are now so expensive (£10), so I plan to use Junior General card models rescaled to 1/144.
